Medical Director Revealed

by | Sep 18, 2024 | Company News | 0 comments

When Lead Locators was established in 2013, I asked my friend and family pediatrician to be my medical director. He agreed and was always there to be the voice of reason, professionally and personally. At the time, Lead Locators was focused on lead testing. Now that we have risen from the ashes of Carter Duke’s tragic death in 2020, we have reemerged as a distributor of all things related to early lead detection and poison prevention.

Dr. John Has The Vision

There wasn’t much going on in the lead world until 3M stopped making the ubiquitous swabs in October 2023. That is when I started my search for a replacement. After presenting Dr. John with the Lumetallix instant Lead Test, he said, “This might be the holy grail of untangling the problem that has frustrated me for years. Lead Poisoning Prevention was missing the mark by forcing doctors to test Head Start children for blood lead levels.” “This is the first product I have ever seen that puts the tools in parents’ hands to do something to prevent lead poisoning.”

Leaving A Legacy To Be Proud Of

I know that there is a bond in professions that helps them relate to each other better. As former Paramedics, we can relate. We share a kinship in wanting to leave a legacy of making a difference in the world. This is the beginning of something unique.
